Born in Israel, Rabbi Yisrael has been learning dayanut for eight years at Rabbi Shmuel Pinchasi and has received smicha in both Even Haezer and Choshen Mishpat. Rabbi Maman heads the Hebrew speaking morning program consisting of Gemara B’Iyun, Halacha and Mussar. He also writes on topics related to halacha and hashkafa as part of an online program by Sharei Uziel in the Old City of Jerusalem.
